Student Work: Client Website for Let Them Eat Cake
A business website designed and coded for the introductory web-design course, ART 4634: Visual Design for the Internet. Students worked in groups to re-design (or design from scratch) a website for a local business or organization. The groups were required to meet with their chosen clients to discuss the project, including design direction, client needs, website functionality, etc. This gave students the opportunity to not only fine-tune their web design abilities, but to also continue exploring the development of branding as it applies to web application — including the brand’s look and feel and its voice.

Clients were not required to implement the final solutions as the assignment focused more on working with clients than being simply a production company. This site was designed by Andrew Haan, Cristina Ordaz and Meghn Lofing. You can launch the site here: philrules.com/student_websites/let_them_eat_cake/
